This Reiki I & II Certification Training is a full-day immersive experience designed to prepare students to confidently use Reiki for themselves and others. Whether you are beginning your energy healing journey or deepening an existing path, this training offers both foundational understanding and practical application in a grounded, ethical, and empowering way.
Throughout the day, you will:
✨ Learn how Reiki works and how to channel it safely and effectively
✨ Receive two Reiki attunements
✨ Activate the first three Usui Reiki symbols
✨ Practice giving and receiving Reiki with fellow students
✨ Explore chakra awareness, energetic ethics, and intuitive development
✨ Receive a printed manual and certification upon completion
This one-day format (8 hours with a 30-minute lunch break) allows you to fully immerse yourself in the teachings while building confidence through hands-on practice in an intimate setting.
Class size is intentionally limited to 2–8 students to preserve depth, connection, and individualized guidance.
Lunch will be provided (homemade vegan soup), and all practice equipment will be available.
This is more than a certification.
It is an initiation into deeper awareness, service, and self-trust.

Lauren Surprenant is a Reiki Master Teacher who has been practicing since 2006. She is passionate about sharing Reiki with people, whether for the first time or the 1,000th time. Born and raised in Battle Creek, Lauren feels grateful for the opportunity to share Reiki with this community.
Lauren’s Reiki practice is very practical and down-to-earth. She is focused on the needs of the receiver, first and foremost. This means asking the client about their hopes and intentions for the session and using that to guide her. Consent is the cornerstone of her practice. She ensures clients know what to expect in terms of touch, and also ensures they know their comfort is the highest priority.
As a teacher, she prioritizes these same principals. Making Reiki accessible and reducing any intimidation are paramount. She strips away any pretense and focuses on the basics of practicing Reiki. She models how to create a consent-focused, client-centered practice.
The one-day Reiki I & II immersion course offers the opportunity to meditate and reflect, receive Reiki attunements for working on oneself and others, learn how to prioritize client comfort and consent, and practice giving Reiki to one another.
