Discover how Reiki can support stress relief, comfort, and well-being in healthcare settings. This special program at Berkshire Community College is designed for healthcare professionals, family caregivers, and anyone interested in using Reiki to assist others and themselves.
Dates: Tuesdays, September 30 & October 7, 2025 (2 sessions)
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Location: BCC Main Campus, Hawthorne Hall, Room 204
Instructor: Ann Shacar, RMT
Cost: $189
In this class, you’ll learn:
✨ The principles and techniques of Reiki for use in healthcare and caregiving settings
✨ How Reiki can help with stress reduction, anxiety, and behavior support (including dementia care)
✨ Practical skills for assisting residents, clients, and yourself
✨ How to integrate Reiki into caregiving with compassion and intention
At the completion of the program, students will receive Certification in Level 1 Reiki.
Community Education Workshop Refund Policy: If you withdraw at least one week before the first meeting, you will receive a 100% refund less a $15 processing fee. No refund is given for withdrawals made less than one week before the course starts. If BCC cancels a workshop, you will receive a 100% refund of all fees. Please allow at least three weeks for processing refunds.
