This two hour session will elicit deep relaxation through mindful asana, restorative yoga, reiki* and pranayama. The combination of these practices lead to a state of receptivity in which all levels of the body can open to healing.
We will begin with a short Asana sequence accessible to all levels. Maryellen will set you up with supporting props in a sequence of Restorative Yoga poses coupled with guided Pranayama. While resting in the supported postures, Jo will make her way around the room and offer Reiki to all the participants.

* Reiki is a Japanese form of hands-on energy therapy that seeks to bring the body and subtle bodies back into balance. Reiki supports the body’s own healing process and restores health and wellness.
