Regress & Rest Retreat

Regress & Rest Retreat is Autistic Pride Chattanooga’s Neurodiverse community lock‑in built for slowing down, reconnecting, and choosing the pace that actually works for you. This is a drop‑in, drop‑out lock‑in running from 2:00pm to 9:00am: arrive when you want, stay as long as you want, and leave the moment your social battery says it’s time. Pajamas encouraged. This is an 18‑and‑up event. The retreat is being held at UUCC, and Autistic Pride Chattanooga is not affiliated with any religion or religious organization. We thank UUCC for the use of this space.
Please visit https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/regress-and-rest-retreat to get your tickets.
Admission is sliding scale. We suggest $10 to help our org break even and support Autistics for Safe Food and our upcoming community care and education series, "How to Be Autistic." Bring something for the whole class and take $5 off your admission. This could be a game, snack, or something for the potluck. If you would like to see a sign up to coordinate what to bring, email [email protected] or check our Discord Server. Scholarship "Pay what you can" tickets are also available.
The retreat provides five distinct community‑pace spaces so you can choose the environment that fits your energy, communication style, and sensory needs. You can move between spaces at any time. Activities include games, movies, infodumping corners, and open creative time. We will share a safe‑food potluck with pizza provided.
An advocacy workshop will run as a simple, collaborative discussion on what comes next for our community. This is where you can explore your strengths, name your needs, and help shape Autistic Pride Chattanooga’s second year.
Above all, Regress & Rest Retreat is our org giving back to the community that holds us.
