Abstract art creation does not attempt to show things realistically, instead, it uses lines, shapes, colors, and textures to convey emotions and meaning. As stated in the introduction, a quotation from Wassily Kandinsky, the inventor of abstract art, requires three basic principles: hand-drawing expertise, a keen understanding of how to compose visually and intuitively, as well as how to feel and share emotions.
Content: This workshop will be highly interactive and have a show-and-tell style.
Donn will include conversations related to styles of abstract art and their theoretical aspects, review design principles of Composition, Rhythm, Balance, among others.

As Creative Director, Donn will curate all exhibitions, lead seasonal workshops and retreats, mentor emerging artists, and shape the soul of The Uncommon Studio through programming that integrates nature, spirituality, and creative expression.
