🌍 Where Does Sparky Live? In this imaginative project, participants will explore the world of Sparky the Robot by designing Sparky’s planet or landscape through guided art sessions. Sparky might be an engineer, a teacher, an astronaut, or so much more — inspiring kids to blend creativity, storytelling, and science in one unforgettable experience.

Artworks can be pick-up at the Convention Center on April 19th at 2PM.

SCORING CRITERIA (Total: 100 points)
1. Creativity & Originality (0–25 points)
What to look for:
• Is the idea unique or imaginative?
• Does the artwork show storytelling?
• Is the concept more than basic or copied ideas?

2. Use of Elements of Art (0–25 points)
What to look for:
• Use of color (contrast, harmony, choices)
• Use of line and shape
• Use of space (foreground/background, depth)
• Use of texture (real or implied)
• Overall visual organization of elements

3. Use of Space & Composition (0–20 points)
What to look for:
• Are elements placed with some intention (not random)?
• Is the space used (not all empty or overcrowded)?
• Is there something that draws attention (a main idea or focus)?

4. Engagement & Completion (0–15 points)
What to look for:
• Does the artwork look finished or intentionally complete?
• Did the student use the canvas space meaningfully?
• Is there evidence the student tried to develop their idea?

• Does the artwork clearly communicate an idea, feeling, or message?
• Is it visually engaging or memorable?
• Does it capture attention and hold interest?
