Join us for this month’s Homeschool Learning Lab as we dive into the world of Conservation Grazing! Together, we’ll explore how our local ecosystems—especially the unique Pine Savannahs—have changed over time, and the different ways we work to protect native plants and animals.
🌱 What to Expect:
-Learn how Pine Savannahs were maintained in the past vs. today
-Discover restoration tools like prescribed fire, mulching, and—yes—goats 🐐
-Find out why some methods can’t be used in certain areas
-Meet our four-legged “land managers” and see how they help keep habitats healthy (and a little more baaautiful)
It’s a fun, hands-on morning perfect for curious minds of all ages—come learn, explore, and hang out with goats while discovering the fascinating balance of our local ecosystem.
