Regional Reads Book Club - HARDLAND

We invite you to join us at the Heritage Center to discuss our next book,

by Ashley E. Sweeney --Mystery.

Set in 1899 Arizona, Hardland tells the story of Ruby Fortune, a former Wild West performer juggling single motherhood with running a business in a harsh frontier town. The novel features Southwest imagery and history, examining domestic abuse, motherhood, interracial relationships, and the challenges women faced in the late 19th-century American West.

Our book club provides a relaxed and cozy setting. Each month, we gather to explore and discuss a book with a regional focus. These thoughtfully curated selections of non-fiction and fiction will provide the opportunity to delve into the rich tapestry of our local culture and history.

As an added treat, every month we will feature a new artisanal tea to sample from Ribbons Tea House and sample some retro vinyl from Deadwax Records as we explore engaging books together.

Whether you are an avid reader or just looking for a pleasant way to spend an evening, our book club welcomes everyone. Meetings will be on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM. We look forward to evenings of great books and engaging discussion!
