Veterans Day - The Royal Irish Regimental Family

This event is for veterans of the regimental family and their adult guests, no under 18's are permitted. The parading formations are being organised by the regimental associations. All those wishing to parade will need to make themselves known to their regimental association representatives by Thursday 27th of Aug 26. This includes those who are not currently members of an association. This is to ensure everyone has a place on the day.

All attendees will need to provide photographic ID to enter the event.

Regimental Veterans Day, taking place on Saturday 5th September 2026, at Clonaver Army Reserve Centre, is a special occasion dedicated to those who have served in the Irish Regiments. Formerly known as Combined Old Soldiers' Day (COSD), this gathering promises to be a memorable occasion for the Regimental Family.

After the parade, veterans can enjoy a catch-up with comrades, as well as food, beverages, and entertainment. There will also be a PRI shop and welfare support available.

Attendees should ensure that the name on their ticket matches the name on their photographic ID, as entry to the MOD site may otherwise be denied. Those who wish to participate in the parade and have not yet submitted their name to their association representative should do so immediately.
