Wagwan! Reggae Jam-Down night is back and this time we're at the Sahara Lounge in east Austin!
Reggae Jam-Down Night will take place on April 16th.
We will have an open mic format where in addition to a variety of reggae classics and originals played by the house band other members of the community are welcome to take the stage for a song or short set performing either covers or originals as long as they fit the reggae genre. Songs outside of the genre are acceptable as long as they are "reggaefied."
This event is partially funded by the City of Austin and the Nexus Grant. Free to attend, but we ask for a $10 donation that will go directly towards the musicians. So please come join us for this magical night of music in the city of Austin. One love.
