Ras Greg from Long Island, NY attended JMU and while there joined late 90's reggae band Stable Roots, who at the time was formed by area keyboardist and producer Chris Whitley who toured with legendary Jamaican group Culture! From there he has backed many reggae legends like Anfree Tish, Kymani Marley, Barrington Levy, Everton Blender and many more!
His songs touch the soul as his words are carefully crafted like a Marley tune and melodies to make your feet move to the reggae best!
Original songs like "Check the Root" and "Coming from the Top" along with covers of legendary reggae artists songs like Bob Marley, Toots and The Maytals and many more, keep you jamming all night!
