The Ministry of Sailing & The Severn Sailing Association invites you to participate in the only Regatta Scenario Based Crisis Simulated Exercise.
This is the kick-off event for Sailing Leaders in the United States in which we can collectively reflect on the critical safety preparation required to host a regatta.
The only program of its kind which allows any sailing organization to test its Crisis Management Plan. Through a tested and proven Simulated Exercise, our experts will walk you through scenarios which will enhance preparedness, improve communication, and validate your response plans. By simulating real-world sailing scenarios, you will identify gaps and refine protocols, ultimately strengthening a sailing organization's ability to manage crises effectively. In a full-day event the table-top exercise will stretch all your regatta staff positions and enhance their response skills in the event of a crisis. At the end of the course each attendee receives a Certificate as a Regatta Safety Officer. Regatta Crisis Management Training
