Introducing Refugee Girls Worldwide (RGW): An International Women’s Day Celebration

Refugee Girls Worldwide (RGW) is proud to host its inaugural International Women’s Day (IWD) gathering celebrating women in leadership, purposeful connection, and resilient community building.

4:30 pm – 5:00 pm | Welcome Reception & Registration

Guests are invited to arrive early, check-in at registration, meet fellow attendees, and connect with leaders, advocates, and community partners.


5:00 pm – 6:30 pm | Cocktail Hour, Food, & Open Networking

A enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while continuing conversations, meeting the RGW team, and learning more about how to support our mission through volunteering, partnership, or giving.


6:30 pm – 8:30 pm | Panel Discussion: Women in Leadership & Global Impact

A dynamic conversation featuring women leaders, changemakers, and community voices exploring:

  • Leadership through adversity
  • Empowering girls in crisis settings
  • The role of community in driving global change
  • Why investing in displaced girls transforms entire societies

RGW is a Canadian-based, 100% volunteer‑run charity with a mission to empower and safeguard displaced girls and families worldwide. With a deep commitment to education, healthcare, nutrition, and safe shelter, RGW creates life‑changing opportunities for girls and families facing the compounded risks of displacement from conflicts and natural disasters.

From providing schools and scholarships, to operating maternal health clinics, to delivering food security programs and emergency relief in crisis zones, RGW supports some of the world’s most vulnerable children and families. Since 2019, RGW has reached hundreds of thousands of individuals across 10 different countries with every dollar donated going directly to those in need.

This event marks a meaningful moment: RGW’s introduction to the broader community, and an opportunity to champion refugee girls’ voices, celebrate global women’s leadership, and engage purposefully with others committed to making a difference.
