Refuge leans into a deeper current, where each artist steers the room through their own sonic terrain.

Setting the tone is the Mild Fantasy boss, Elle Dee. The New York City-based multi-disciplinary artist has been a fixture of the city's club scene for over a decade. Their sets are known for their remarkable flow and captivating energy, making them a must-see for techno enthusiasts.

The celebrated Catalan DJ/producer, Coyu comes in with a fierce, percussive edge, built for peak-hour pressure. Coyu's tenacious selections proves why his label Suara is one of the most prominent imprints in today's worldwide electronic music scene.

DeepLabs founder, Luke Hess taps into Detroit’s spiritual core, laying down dub-soaked layers where chords drift like they’re suspended beneath the surface while distant echoes stretch outward into the cosmos. Hess' signature sound has earned him regular appearances at key institutions such as Tresor, Berghain and Movement Festival.

Landing the plane is New Jersey based DJ, producer and label captain, DJ Qu. He was referred to as "the dancer's DJ" in Resident Advisor's 2009 feature on the US east coast house renaissance. Qu has been steadily reinforcing that description with a well-received run of rhythmic, dark, stripped-down productions on labels such as Secretsundaze, Syncrophone, and his Strength Music imprint.

Driven through the REX sound system, the night unfolds with full weight and detail—every frequency dialed in for a long, locked-in ride.

Refuge Hi-Def Dance Club is a 500-cap underground nightclub in East Williamsburg built around sound, energy, and atmosphere. At its core is REX, a custom 4-point system designed by co-founder Craig “Shorty” Bernabeu, with four 10-foot stacks surrounding the dance floor for a powerful, immersive experience. Each night is curated to push that system to its full potential — a true Musical Arts Performance in every sense.
