About this Event
Our thoughts shape how we show up for the people we serve—and for each other. This class helps participants recognize common thinking traps that can get in the way of effective communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building with youth, caregivers, and colleagues.
Through guided discussion, hands‑on activities and real‑world examples, participants will learn how to spot unhelpful thinking patterns and practice simple, practical reframing techniques that can be used immediately. Together, we’ll apply these strategies to everyday scenarios you’re likely already navigating—whether it’s supporting a young person through a challenging moment, engaging caregivers with empathy, or collaborating more effectively with coworkers.
This session is designed to be highly participatory. The in‑person format allows for meaningful dialogue, shared reflection, and skill practice in a supportive environment.
This class is provided in partnership with the Family League of Baltimore.
