Having trained comprehensively in reflexology, bereavement counselling, counselling and trauma counselling, Naomi brings a wealth of experience to this training having worked in 4 of main cancer organisations in Northern Ireland
The training runs over 2 weekends, from 10am- 5pm each day.
Saturday 2nd November 2024, Sunday 3rd November and Saturday 30th November 2024.
This 3 day Training is designed to:
Teach already qualified Reflexologists adaptive techniques in order to provide effective and supportive treatments to individuals who have cancer, their families and carers along with:-
•Look at the Role of the Therapist
•Issues which may present from the client
• Communication techniques
• Loss and bereavement ( living/ permanent and bereavement)
•anchoring, visualisation and breathing techniques
• Compassion fatigue
• Transference
• "Our own stuff" as therapists
•The adaptive techniques to perform Reflexology safely- 2 practical routines
•Cancer awareness and treatment
• Cautions and contraindications and other reasons not to treat
•Self- care as Therapists
•Referrals
• confidentiality and data protection
• professional standards and multidisciplinary teams
• therapeutic touch
• plus anything that may arise during the course of training
This training can act as CPD will cover you by the FHT to work in cancer care. There will be plenty of practical and group work over the course of the two weekends.
Providing Therapies whilst working in cancer care is much more than just the physical treatment. Places are limited to ensure maximum interaction, supervision and support. There are 8 places available.

Time: 10am-5pm each day.
Refreshments are provided but students need to bring a packed lunch.

Self investment for the training is: £340
Early bird offer of £300 if paid in full on or before 21st September 2024.
A non- refundable/ non transferable deposit of £100 is required to secure your place. Balance may be paid in instalments by agreement. Balance due on or before 21st September 2024 for the early bird offer or 21st October 2024 for full price. Those wishing to attend will be required to provide a copy of their reflexology qualification in order to attend prior to training if they haven't completed their Diploma training with me.
