Reflections in Color explores memory, travel, celebration, and transformation through the works of Beethoven, Liszt, Granados, Kapustin, Scriabin, and Chopin.

The program traces a journey through departure, reflection, joy, and renewal, revealing a rich spectrum of musical colors, from Beethoven’s Les Adieux Piano Sonata to Nikolai Kapustin's jazz-infused Variations.

Join pianist Eric Young for an afternoon of storytelling through music as each work reflects a different facet of life’s journey.

Eric Young is a pianist and educator based in Texas. A passionate performer of both classical and contemporary repertoire, he enjoys crafting programs that tell a story and invite audiences to experience music in new ways. Reflections in Color marks his return to San Antonio with a program inspired by themes of memory, travel, celebration, and transformation.
