Have you ever wondered why people wear black to funerals? Or how did people in the Victorian era mourn the loss of their loved ones? Join us on September 20th for refreshments and a presentation by reenactor and historian Thomas Bailey. He will also be exhibiting his extensive collection of mourning items, including dresses, jewelry, and more, for visitors to explore and learn more about funeral customs and how some of the mourning traditions from the past are still practiced today.
