Reflecting on Our Roots: Black History Month Celebration

Join us for the 1st Annual Black History Month Celebration and Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Charles County Juneteenth Foundation, as we honor and celebrate the incredible contributions and achievements of Black individuals throughout history and in our community.

The evening will be a powerful and inspiring reflection on the journey of the African American experience, with special recognition of those who have made significant strides in shaping the culture, arts, education, and social justice. Through performances, storytelling, and award presentations, we will highlight the strength, resilience, and excellence that continues to define our roots and pave the way for future generations.

This event will feature:

• Award ceremony honoring outstanding local individuals for their contributions to the community
• Live performances celebrating Black culture, music, and history
• Networking opportunities with community leaders, educators, and local activists
