Join us at our West Perth studio for a high-intensity 3-week Bachata series designed to build the technical backbone most dancers spend years trying to find.Whether you are stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or you are a seasoned social dancer tired of feeling "stiff," we provide the system to fast-track your confidence and connection. You aren't just learning a routine; you are learning the global standard of Bachata from Perth’s most decorated international champions.
📅 WHEN: Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays (Starting Feb 10th) 📍 WHERE: Refinery Dance: Vault Creative Spaces, 15 Gordon St, West Perth
✨ THE REFINERY CURRICULUM:
Absolute Beginners (Sundays 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM) Zero experience required. We strip away the confusion and give you the rhythm and basic footwork needed to survive—and thrive—on any social floor in record time. No partner needed; we provide the community.
Foundations 1: The Base (Sundays 3:00 PM- 4:00PM) We dive deep into the elements of connection and lead/follow. We explain the body isolations that make Bachata feel effortless. This is the perfect class for people with some bachata experience wanting to start levelling up.
Foundations 2 + Intermediate: The Refinement (Thursdays 7:00 PM – 9:15 PM) This is our unique offering. Especially for the driven dancer. We break down fundamental techniques and then apply them in advanced concepts to create effortless flow and intricate connection. This is where "good" becomes "amazing."
Note: Thursday Foundations is the mandatory prerequisite for our Intermediate tier.
The Solo Lab (Tuesdays 8 PM – 9:30 PM) 90 minutes of pure technical immersion. This is the secret to looking like a pro. Master your individual styling, footwork, and body control so your social dancing reflects your personality, not just a pattern.
