Fremantle Carnevale Inc. invites you to join our Fossil Fuel Crime Walk for a fun-filled, 90 minute satirical stroll through the heart of darkness of WA’s fossil fuel crime underbelly: the Perth CBD, heartland of the WA petrostate!

Our Fossil Fool Crime Walk will feature a CSI team, roving clowns, puppets and harlequins, a range of (extremely well-known) expert witnesses, and a live Carnival soundtrack pumped out by Junkadelic Brass Band.
Carnival is a season of masquerade, transgression and mockery of the established order, so we encourage you to get into the Carnival spirit by dressing up.
This is NOT a conventional political protest, it’s a piece of satirical street theatre where we are pulling out all stops to lampoon the WA fossil fool industry.
You can help us to generate the 'right' Carnival atmosphere of satirical mockery by leaving your activist T shirt at home and instead dressing up as a fossil fool flunky in hard hat and high vis (or as a clown, robber or harlequin).
But you can also just turn up on the night and we’ll give you a robber mask to wear!
Stayin' Alive, Keepin' to 1.5" flashmob
In preparation, join our "Stayin' Alive, Keepin' to 1.5" flashmob performance as we activate the annual, global ritual of Carnevale season!!
The flashmob is led by dance and commedia extraordinaire Salmiyah Fiedorowicz.
