Reenacting the Bombardment of Portland by the British 250 Years Ago

The tall ship Lynx of Nantucket arrives on Friday Sept 19, and will offer an advance-ticketed Exclusive Sail from 3- 5 pm (arrive at DiMillo's Marina by 2:30 pm for boarding).

On Saturday Sept 20, the day begins with a reenactment of the bombardment of Portland by the tall ship Lynx of Nantucket from 10-11 am. Viewing is free and open to the public from the Maine State Pier.

Following this reenactment, we are offering "Walk the Deck" tours of the Lynx at DiMillo's Marina from 12- 3 pm, and an exclusive onboard evening reception "Flames to Freedom" from 4:30-7 pm. For details visit tatehouse.org
