🎣 Reel in the Fun at Our 2025 Fishing Tournament! 🎣Save the date: April 19, 2025!

If you are a veteran who is wanting to attend but do not have a fishing license please reach out and we will try and help as many veterans as possible get their 10 year fishing, small game hunting license! We want to help you if we can!
If you are a supporter and want to help us raise funds to help us with this initiative in getting some veterans fishing licenses, please visit us online for donations or reach out with any questions, or comments. Thanks!
Veterans and kids under 10 fish for free, while kids aged 11-17: $10, and adults: $25 per person or $40 per couple.
Our day kicks off at 9 AM with a quick safety brief, and a chance to ask any questions and the tournament concludes at 12 PM, followed by a tasty lunch from 12 PM to 12:45 PM. The excitement wraps up with an award ceremony at 12:45 PM.

🚤 Prizes Galore! 🚤
30% of all funds raised through entry fee registrations for this event will be distributed as follows.
🥇 1st Place: 50% of the prize fund for the longest catch
🥈 2nd Place: 30% of the prize fund for the longest catch
🥉 3rd Place: 20% of the prize fund for the longest catch
Youth Angler Awards for most fish caught and smallest fish caught
📣 Weekly Updates: We'll be posting weekly updates of potential prize winnings every Friday for the top 3 payouts.
🏞️ Open Fishing Tournament: This is an open fishing tournament—you can fish from the bank, a boat, or a kayak.
Fundraiser Goals:
Community-Building Initiatives: Organizing family-friendly outdoor events that help veterans bond with loved ones while enjoying nature activities. Hosting veteran networking events that connect veterans with similar experiences, fostering support systems and friendships.
Enhancing Program Impact: Providing adaptive equipment for disabled veterans to ensure inclusivity (e.g., adaptive kayaks, hiking poles, electric reels for veterans with limited hand mobility, rod holders and braces for wheelchairs).
Operational Costs: Covering administrative expenses (e.g., website hosting, insurance, event permits, nonprofit compliance fees to maintain 501(c)3 status, merchandise, and marketing).
Please note: Crappie will be in spawning season, and largemouth bass will be in pre-spawn season. Make sure to pre-register online by 8 AM on April 19th to participate in the event.

We are awaiting approval from a fishing tournament app called FishDonkey that will have to be utilized for this tournament to ensure fish are catch and release, and you will have to take the picture of your catch with the app in order for it to count towards the tournament.

Also to participate in this event you must have fishing licenses, boat/kayak/canoe permits that is required to fish at Lake Monroe.
