About the Film: B.C. is Burning is a powerful 45-minute documentary that explores the causes and consequences of British Columbia’s escalating wildfire crisis, and the science-based solutions that could help protect our forests and communities.Produced by retired forester Murray Wilson, edited by Ryan Tebbutt of Edge Digital Media, and with associate producer Rick Maddison, the film weaves expert interviews, government data, and striking footage from both B.C. and California. It features forest professionals, wildfire officials, and researchers who share real-world strategies already making a difference on the ground.
Independently funded, the film was made possible with generous support from Homestead Foods, Skyline Helicopters, Padoin Reforestation, and Kalesnikoff.
