Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose Denim + Embroidery Workshop

Give new life to an old favorite in our Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose workshop. In this hands-on adult textile experience, you will transform a pair of jeans into custom-fit shorts and add your own embroidered details for a one-of-a-kind finish.
During this two and a half hour workshop, we will guide you through the process of measuring, cutting, and styling your denim, followed by an introduction to simple embroidery techniques that can be used to personalize your piece. Think subtle stitched details, playful accents, or bold designs that reflect your style.
Participants are encouraged to bring a pair of jeans they are ready to reimagine. Whether they are well-loved, thrifted, or just no longer your go-to, this is your chance to turn them into something fresh and wearable. All additional materials, including embroidery thread, needles, and design inspiration, will be provided.
No prior sewing or embroidery experience is needed. This workshop is designed to be approachable, creative, and rewarding at any skill level.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy while you create. Come solo or with a friend and spend the evening making something meaningful.
You will leave with a finished pair of shorts (or a strong start) and the skills to continue repurposing textiles at home.
