5-DAY ADVENTURE INTO FIBER ARTS (AGES 10+)
Dates: Monday, June 15th – Friday, June 19th
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily (Perfect for working around midday and afternoon shifts!)

DESCRIPTION
In this exciting, week-long camp, absolute beginners will transform from total newbies into proud creators of their very own amigurumi buddies. Over five afternoons, your camper will begin the amazing adventure into textile arts by exploring crochet, hands ewing, basic embroidery, and amigurumi techniques.
The grand finale? They will combine all these new skills to craft their very own adorable, custom amigurumi buddy!
No prior experience is necessary. We start from the absolute basics and build confidence in a supportive, relaxed, and fun environment.
WHAT YOUR CAMPER WILL LEARN AND CREATE
Day 1: Crochet Basics – Choose a hook, get a feel for yarn tension, and learn basic stitches simple flat crochet project like a bookmark or coaster.
Day 2: Hand-Sewing/Embroidery Skills –Make your own felt patch and learn the basics of sewing to securely assemble limbs, ears, and bodies so their buddy lasts a lifetime.
Day 3: The Magic Circle – Master the art of the very foundation stitch of amigurumi and 3-D crochet.
Days 4 & 5 : The Grand Assembly – Put all the new skills together to create their amigurumi buddy!
