The final race of the 2024 Steel City Trail 10 series will take place on Sunday 15 December 2024.

Race start 09:30
Registration will be in the Three Merry Lads pub, on Redmires Road. If driving, please use the public car park opposite, rather than either of the pub car parks.
The pub owners are very kindly going to open up at 9am for us, please return their kindness by treating the premises with respect, and try not to drag too much mud into the pub.
We hope to be able to do prizegiving following the run, so if you can stick around, you would be most welcome. This is dependent on being able to turn the results around in time, but we will keep everyone informed should we need to postpone and find an alternative date for awards.
Expect wooded trails, barren moorland, rocky paths, boggy traverses, a little bit of road, and loads of 'fun'. It's December, and we will be high up on the edge of the Peak District, please dress appropriately for the conditions.
We'll post more about the route in the coming weeks.

If you have run before, please bring along your number and register on the day so we know you're taking part. If you can't find your number, let us know so we can look it up and you can bring a home made one (please don't take a new number if you have one already as we have limited numbers).

It will probably be wet, and the local ecologists are keen to say: be prepared to embrace the muddy footpaths and stay on track to prevent erosion and carbon release into the waterways.
