About this Event
Join Groundwork to remove the non-native invasive species Snowberry (Symphoricarpos Albus) from the areas surrounding the River Colne.
This familiar white-berried plant that grows via suckering roots and can form dense thickets, outcompeting native plants for light. By removing these plants we can open up areas for native species to thrive and deter further growth in sensitive wildlife areas.
We will meet at the Timberlake car park off Radlett Road.
Please bring suitable clothing - sturdy boots, long trousers and sleeves, and weather-appropriate clothing. We will provide all tools and protective equipment.
It's thirsty work, so please do bring some water too!
