Reden+Tanzen mit Bruna Diniz Afonso: BURST - Research and Creative Process
Bruna will talk about the research and creative process of her latest performance project.
"Burst" is an artistic research and interdisciplinary performance project. The research is based on conversations with a diverse group of people, who all have experienced different types of discrimination such as sexism, racism, queerphobia or xenophobia, among others. From these conversations fourteen hours of interview material were collected. The result, an immersive performance at Sol LeWitt's Wall at Kunsthaus Graz, was inspired by these stories. In addition, a sound installation and a video were developed based on the material. In this way, the content could be experienced through different media.
