Transitioning from military life is more than a career decision—it’s a shift in identity, community, and daily rhythm. This one-day symposium is designed for servicewomen, veterans, and military spouses who are exploring what comes next on a personal level.
This isn’t about resumes, job interviews, or long-term programming. It’s a space for thoughtful conversation, shared experience, and helpful tools to support your next steps.
Who It's For:
- Active duty preparing for transition
- National Guard, Reserves, retirees, and veterans
- Military spouses from all branches(Civilian allies welcome as space allows. Priority is given to attendees with military affiliation.)
What to Expect:
- Personal reflection and identity-focused conversations
- Access to information and support resources
- Time to connect with others navigating similar transitions
Event Details:
- Doors Open & Check-in: 8:30 AM
- Symposium Begins: 9:30 AM
- Ends: 3:00 PM
- Attire: Business casual. Uniforms are not required—we encourage civilian dress.
- Location: University of Washington Tacoma, William W. Phillip Hall, 1900 Commerce St., Tacoma, WA 98402
- Note: Full-day attendance is required to receive training credit
