Pick "I'm a veteran or first responder" or "I'm a family member or a friend."
A free veteran resource event at SSG Michael Wayne Schafer Memorial VFW Post 10209, built around education, community, and connection for veterans, first responders, and the families who stand beside them.
NOTE THE DAY. This stop is a Thursday, not a Saturday.
WHAT'S ON SITE
• Medical cannabis education in plain language, at your pace
• Veteran service organizations and community resources
• On-site physician certification visits at no cost to eligible veterans and first responders
• Florida state application fee covered for approved applicants
A certification is a medical appointment. The physician determines whether a patient may qualify under Florida's medical cannabis program. Nothing is guaranteed, and no one is asked to change or stop any medication. Florida's program, federal law, and VA policy are separate systems, and we walk through each one on its own terms.
