About this Event
Learn about smoking meats in a two-hour master class led by local private pit master "Bacon Bob" Kraus. In this class, Bob will share his knowledge of how to trim meats, craft a basic dry rub, timing, and special cheat codes he's developed over the years. The class will feature brisket, pork shoulder, chicken thighs, and turkey breast. (Some meats will be started over smoke ahead of time.) Students can stay after class for an optional picnic supper featuring the meats cooked that afternoon. Limited picnic supper only tickets are also available. See pricing in the ticketing section.
Picnic supper menu includes smoked meats, smoked baked beans, cole slaw, cornbread, iced tea, lemonade and watermelon for dessert.
