Red, White, and Blue Block Party
Kids Markets is excited to join the City of Xenia’s Red, White & Blue Block Party on July 3rd in historic downtown Xenia as part of the America 250 celebration and Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks Festival!
Kids Markets is a unique, family-friendly farmers market-style experience where children ages 5–17 run their own booths and small businesses in a real community event environment. Young entrepreneurs will be selling crafts, baked goods, art, toys, jewelry, games, handmade creations, and more while learning valuable life skills through hands-on experience.
One of the most exciting parts of Kids Markets is watching children build confidence as they interact with customers, handle money, practice communication skills, and proudly showcase something they created themselves. It’s a fun and encouraging opportunity for kids to explore creativity, responsibility, entrepreneurship, and community involvement.
Families visiting downtown Xenia can enjoy:
🇺🇸 America 250 celebration activities
🎶 Live entertainment and music
🍔 Regional food trucks and local restaurants
🎨 Interactive attractions and family activities
🛍 Shopping from local vendors and kid entrepreneurs
🎆 Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks Festival
The event takes place Friday, July 3rd from 4:00–8:00 p.m. in downtown Xenia, with fireworks beginning later in the evening at Shawnee Park.
Come support young entrepreneurs and enjoy one of the area’s biggest family-friendly Independence Day celebrations!
