Adam Trice is an American writer, singer, and songwriter from Baltimore, MD. In 2007, he began performing in solo and duo ensembles under the band name RED SAMMY. Trice has performed with a rotating cast of musicians ranging from a full rock band to a four-piece string ensemble. His unique songwriting style blends rock, folk, country, indie, and blues with thoughtful, deeply emotional lyrics that highlight a poetic sensibility. RED SAMMY has released ten studio albums.
RED SAMMY’s current Americana folk rock band lineup includes Greg Humphreys (bass, guitar), Bruce Elliott (electric guitar and slide guitar), Kenneth Noble (drums). Adam Trice (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and vocals).
RED SAMMY has shared the stage with national and regional artists including: Mike Watt and the Missingmen, Deer Tick, Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters, Phosphorescent, Dirty River Boys, Reckless Kelly, Fly Golden Eagle, Caroline Jones, The Collection, Brent Cowles, Cat Clyde, and others.
