The 2025 Red Mass will be held at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 with Bishop Earl Fernandes as the principal celebrant.The Red Mass is a tradition in the Catholic Church that dates to 1245, initiated by Pope Innocent IV, to pray for those serving in the legal profession, which today includes individuals involved in the legal, judiciary and government sector.
Attorneys, judges, legal aides and legislators are typically among the attendees, but the Mass is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
