Join Artist Mark Eshelman at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum at the Mesa Arts Center at the 10th Annual Season Opening.
Mark is collaborating with 100 other artists showing at The Red Floor Gallery Take Over within the La Pequeña Galería in the main gallery's Dobson Room.
His work entitled "Skate Spot" is a 8x8 inch black and white photograph printed on Hahnemuhle metallic fine art paper which will be featured.
He took this shot in the spring of 2025, of the newly unveiled concrete wedge skate feature at the state-of-the-art skatepark in Oro Valley, Arizona. This photo represents a tribute to Arizona skateboarding culture in the present day and also acknowledges the history of an enduring local skateboard culture, while celebrating the Sonoran Desert and the people who came before to protect it for use in this incredible sport today and into the future.
