Red Clay Day celebrates the history and beauty of the scenic Red Clay Valley in northern Delaware. Attractions throughout the region will be hosting special activities in honor of the day. Join Urban Bike Project for a relaxed social ride to take in early fall scenery and visit the many participating sites. We'll stop halfway at Dew Point Brewery for a beverage, picnic lunch (please pack your own), and lawn games. This ride takes place on roads, some of which do not have shoulders, and is appropriate for intermediate and experienced riders only please. Experienced riders age 12-17 welcome with a parent or guardian. Please no children under 12. Helmets required.Distance: 30 miles
Start: Meet at 10am at UBP's shop (1500 N. Walnut Street)
Finish: There's lots to do and see, so expect a full day! We plan on returning to the shop by 4pm
Pace: Relaxed, ~10mph
Difficulty: Moderate to Hard. Hilly!
