TopHill Music presents its monthly second Saturday contra dance with the inspiring and energizing music of the Red Case Band: Clara Constance (fiddle, harp) Alex Cumming (accordion, keyboard) Max Newman (guitar, mandolin) Stuart Kenney (upright bass, five string banjo) and Matt Kenney (percussion). Safety basics:
- When someone asks you to dance, you can say "yes" or "no, thank you," no explanation needed.
- Discuss role preferences and any dance preferences/physical limitations with your partner.
- Dance in a way that's comfortable for your partner and neighbors.
- If someone makes you feel physically or emotionally uncomfortable, let them know. If that doesn't help, you can tell a safety team member.
