Recycling In Action- WM Cleveland Recycling Facility

Join us for an in-person tour of the WM Cleveland Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)! See firsthand how recycling is sorted and processed. We will start with a presentation, followed by the tour and time to get answers to your recycling questions.

Tour Guidelines:

• Age Limit: 14 years and older
• Waivers: All participants must sign a release and liability form
• Dress Code: Long pants and closed-toe shoes required for safety
• Duration: Approximately 1–1.5 hour

Restrictions:

• Anyone with a pacemaker is not allowed on the tour due to interferences with the Eddy Current.
• For the facility tour, guests must be able to climb flights of stairs without assistance. However, the education space can be accessed with elevators.
• This tour involves walking on high-up walkways and is not recommended for those with a fear of heights.

Parking:

• Visitor parking is available but limited. Carpooling is recommended. If full, please use the employee parking lot.
• Do not enter the Truck Entrance.
