Recycled T-Shirt Curtains x Oakland

Prototype needs new curtains! In this brief workshop we'll learn how to cut and serge tshirts to make curtains and other textiles. Then we'll break to construct new curtains for Prototype Oakland! Tshirts (and some serger thread) will be provided. If you have rotary cutting tools, quilting rulers, small cutting mats, or a serger, feel free to bring them!
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Jenn Gooch is as artist who designs to keep textiles out of landfills. Her designs include t-shirt curtains, bedsheet rag rugs, and quilted sweater throws. Jenn made the original curtains at Prototype in 2017.
