Join Us for a Free E-Waste Recycling Event in Jamaica!
Do you have old electronics gathering dust at home? Don’t throw them in the trash—bring them to our Recycle Your E-Waste event on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral (110-31 Floyd H. Flake Blvd, formerly Merrick Blvd) – Parking Lot, Jamaica.
New York City law now prohibits discarding electronics with regular waste, so take advantage of this FREE opportunity to dispose of your unwanted devices responsibly.
We accept both working and non-working:
- Computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and keyboards
- Mice, cables, TVs, VCRs, and DVD players
- Phones, audio/visual equipment, cell phones, and PDAs
This event is hosted by the Lower East Side Ecology Center and co-hosted by NYS Senator Leroy Comrie, Council Member Nantasha Williams, The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral, and NYPD Explorers Post 2241.
