Recruiting, Deploying and Developing Coaches workshop

Purpose
To support rugby clubs in strengthening their coaching workforce by improving how they Recruit, Deploy and Develop coaches, leading to better player experience and improved Recruitment, Retention and Transition of players.
The workshop will explore:
• Understanding the tools that could support the recruitment of coaches.
• Understand how to effectively deploy your coaching workforce.
• Understand the types of roles clubs could put in place to develop their own coaches

Key Objectives & Content
• Increase number and diversity of coaches (Recruit)
o Attracting volunteers & Clear messaging/pathways
• Improve how clubs assign and utilise coaches (Deploy)
o Role clarity and Effective placement/planning
• Strengthen coach development and retention (Develop)
o Ongoing support and CCD/Retention/Progression
Audience: Club leadership (Age Grade Chairs, Coaching Coordinators)
