Join us for Recreation Coffee x Bloomington Cycle & Fitness's 3rd Annual “Ride for Pride”! We're getting outside to celebrate Pride! Come as you are, or with whatever wheels & rainbows you’ve got. 🌈🚲
Event open to all ages, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community & allies alike. Dogs on leashes are welcome!

Where?
• Starting Location: Recreation Coffee - 915 E Washington St, Suite 1, Bloomington, IL 61701
• Final Location: Keg Grove Brewery - 712 E Empire St, Suite 2, Bloomington, IL 61701
**Walk & ride routes will be provided.
Event Highlights:
• Group road-ride & a “go at your own pace” walk/ride on the Constitution Trail.
• Alcoholic & Nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at Keg Grove.
• Food Trucks scheduled to be at Keg Grove toward the beginning of the event!
• Giveaway & fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the Prairie Pride Coalition & their student scholarship fund.
Details:
Participants will meet at Recreation Coffee & Bloomington Cycle & Fitness at 5:15pm. At 5:30pm, one group will go on a group road bike ride, while the other group will take a leisurely “go at your own pace” roll/stroll down the Constitution Trail. We’ll meet at Keg Grove Brewery, where we’ll come together as a community to celebrate another beautiful Pride Month. There will be outdoor activities, food & drink available for purchase, & giveaway prizes! Not able to attend the “ride” portion of the “Ride for Pride”? That’s okay! Meet us out at Keg Grove to participate in the celebration & giveaway.
*Important note: Any participants in the group ride portion of the “Ride for Pride” must wear a helmet, closed-toe shoes, & sign a waiver with BCF to participate.

What is the “Ride for Pride”?
The “Ride for Pride” is a collaborative community event hosted by Recreation Coffee & Bloomington Cycle and Fitness. The goal is to get outside, celebrate Pride, & fundraise for our local LGBTQIA+ community.
Who is the fundraiser for?
We’re raising money for the Prairie Pride Coalition and their student scholarship fund. The “Pride of the Prairie" scholarship is awarded every year to high school juniors & seniors of our community who are being recognized for their outstanding contributions to the LGBTQIA+ community, social justice, & advocacy. Donations for the “Ride for Pride” fundraiser can be made at Recreation Coffee via cash or Venmo @recreationcoffee .
What is the giveaway?
We will be giving away 3 custom painted Specialized bike helmets, gift certificates, & merch to local businesses! Participants in the “Ride for Pride” will be able to enter in a chance to win the helmet of their choice. In the weeks leading up to the “Ride for Pride”, the custom painted helmets will be displayed at Recreation Coffee, where those not able to attend the “Ride for Pride” can enter the giveaway & make donations to the fundraiser as well. The giveaway is free to enter, no purchase necessary. Winners will be selected & contacted by Monday June, 29th
