Recovery Outing: Dragon Boating Sunset Paddle

Join us Saturday, June 20th from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the docks at 61 Lake Rd in Norway for food, games, and a trip around Lake Pennesseewassee. We’ll start with dinner at 6 PM, then enjoy a sunset paddle or two with the Maine Dragon Boating Club. For anyone who wants to stay on shore, we’ll have yard games and plenty of space to hang out.
A huge thank you to the Maine Dragon Boating Club for making this event possible again this year and helping us offer something so fun, different, and memorable. Evening outings are rare for us, and this one comes with some of the prettiest views around. 🌅
This event is free, and family and friends are welcome to join. We will have a limited number of adult life vests available to borrow. Children will need to bring their own.

Operated by The Western Maine Addiction Recovery Initiative (WMARI) and The HILLS Recovery Center, in partnership with MaineWest and Healthy Oxford Hills, Western Maine Recovery Outings offer free outdoor activities to support people in recovery, seeking recovery, and their loved ones. Recovery Outings focus on fun, connection, and self-discovery, helping participants explore the outdoors, build new skills, and connect with others on similar journeys.
