Recover Your Boundaries, Uncover Your Power: From Suppression to Expression

Kate brings a wealth of experience to her workshops and over the years she has witnessed how a central theme in her therapeutic work is a struggle for clients to define their boundaries and utilise their personal power. She sees how these are intrinsically linked. We must have boundaries in which our personal power can flow....

Our boundaries are wrapped up with our identity and sense of self, intrinsically link to our upbringing and experiences throughout life and manifested in how our personal power is expressed or suppressed.

In this workshop, you'll learn how boundaries are developed and what can thwart their development. You'll learn novel techniques to support your clients to reclaim their boundaries and release their power.

By fostering trauma-informed therapeutic principles of, what Kate calls the 3 P's - passion, purpose and playfulness you'll learn how to engage your clients to discover new ways of being in their world.

This workshop will be recorded and you can use the ticket function to pre-purchase the recording before the event. This will be useful for colleagues who are not able to attend the event live and also for those who attend the event live and want to watch it again.

This workshop will be hosted on the Zoom meeting platform where we will use our cameras and microphones to interact with each other as a group.

The self-select fee is a radical inclusion policy to open learning for all colleagues. The guide price for this event is £20.00, however, we appreciate that income varies greatly in different locations and circumstances. Kate Williams has been in therapeutic practice since 2009 with a background in counselling in further education. She currently runs a busy private practice, works with NHS clients and enjoys running workshops for onlinevents and staff wellbeing workshops for NHS Hull & Humberside and other organisations.

Kate is centre manager for the Bedfordshire Centre for Therapeutic Studies where she teaches on the CPCAB L5 in Somatic Trauma Therapy course & L2 Award in Breathwork Coaching as well as the Level 4 in Therapeutic Counselling.

Kate has a passion for bringing the body into her practice supporting clients to release the trauma that is held within their bodies. Kate is know for her relaxed teaching style, experiential somatic practices and skill of bringing theory to life and making it applicable.
