About this Event

Using active listening, co-creation and simple practices, we come together to remember what it’s like to harmonize.. To remember we are stronger together.

Facilitated by Courtney Backes, participants will have space to share what’s on their hearts and be guided into a collective space of healing. We will take time to consciously witness each other, to access what’s alive for us in the present moment and to create a field of unity, ripe with the complexity of difference.

Influenced by modalities such as the Work That Reconnects, Circling and Grief tending, this circle is open for us to find what needs to be shared and to drop deeper into that which serves.

Practices may include

• Humming
• Physical Contact (with consent)
• Breathwork
• Somatic Cuing/Movement
• Sharing Verbally
• Singing
• Listening & Attuning
• Emergent Creation

Please come with layers depending on the weather, a water bottle, snacks, and blanket/chair so you are comfortable.

All practices are an invitation, so please do what you need emotionally/physically to be well. Honor your needs and boundaries and honor others in the space.

This is a multigenerational space. Parents, please be free to bring your children and they are welcome to share too. Elders and youth are warmly welcome. This is more of a listening space, so some degrees of quiet volume will be helpful. They can play in the garden if they need to.

We will light a fire, weather permitting. Either way, this will be outside in the garden so come prepared to be in open air environment.
