Experience something of the origins of the “Great Law of Peace” which was the natural government prior to colonization.
Delve into some of the local history of the Piscataway people, their traditional lands, their cultural practices, and their relationship with other Eastern Woodlands tribes.
Peter Brooks is a highly accomplished teaching artist and filmmaker who has dedicated his career to preserving and celebrating the ancestral wisdom of Native American cultures and people. By demonstrating, with deep reverence for these time-honored practices, he invites participants to embark on a transformative journey, connecting with the profound teachings and rhythms that have been echoed through these lands for generations.
Spaces are limited. Program is offered twice during the month of November – November 17 and November 24.
