🌎 ReCONN Earth Day: Reuse + Create 🌎A collaboration between ReCONN and recycled materials artist and watercolorist, Little Fox Watercolors (check out their page).
Join us for a relaxed, creative Earth Day gathering at The ReCONNstruction Center in New Britain. The cost to attend is donation based- either a cash donation that is affordable to you or a donation of construction materials or tools that can be sold in the store.
The event will start with a casual tour of the store, exploring doors, tile, hardware, paint, and other rescued materials, and collectively brainstorm ways to give them new life. No idea is wrong.
We’ll wrap up with a short, optional hands-on workshop: Bin to Butterfly — turning salvaged utility hinges into funky little pollinators.
Take yours home, gift it to someone, or donate it back to decorate the store as a symbol of sustainability and second chances.
Come imagine. Come create. Come reuse. 🌿
