Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the rich history of Brenham with a screening of Recollections Volume 3!
This film delves into the fascinating stories of our community's past, featuring firsthand accounts of segregation and its impact on the Black community, the contributions of the Jewish community, the history of Brenham's historic pharmacies, and a look at the leadership of Mayor Reese Lockett.
In 2015, Main Street Brenham embarked on a mission to preserve the invaluable oral histories of our elders. These are the stories of the people – their friends, families, and experiences – that shaped the Brenham we know and love today. This film is a tribute to their legacy and a chance for us to connect with our shared past.
We are deeply grateful for the contributions of these individuals and dedicate this film to them.
