Recognizing and Responding to Emotional Distress in Adults and Seniors (An Educational Guide for Families, Caregivers and Loved Ones)

Please join us in exploring how to identify:
- Behaviors in adults indicating emotional distress
- Warning signs of behavioral crises in senior citizens
- Detailed steps that families and caregivers can take to address these signals
Brian Lebens is the Community Liaison with Haywood Regional Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Unit. Join him in a discussion about identifying warning signs that may indicate a loved one is in need of psychological attention.
Brian will share a brief presentation and looks forward to an open forum discussion to help you, your loved ones and those you are caring for.
Kids 7+ are welcome to join. Younger kids can play in our kids room equipped with toys, a chalk wall, coloring books, books and Disney plus.
